I don't like making predictions, but this one seems pretty safe:
Partially out of a self realization that he is not fit to walk among civilized human beings, Mel Gibson will never make another movie. He will retire to someplace obscure where he can stew in his own vile juices. The Passion of the Christ will become a cult film among neo-nazis.
